The Silence of the Lambs

The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris is a 1988 suspense novel about Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a cannibalistic and manipulative psychiatrist that an FBI agent must get to know and understand in hopes of finding a serial killer.

 

 

 

It was adapted to the screen in 1991, directed by Jonathon Demme, starring Anthony Hopkins, Jodie Foster, and Ted Levine. It is the third film in Oscar history to win the five most prestigious Academy Awards.
